Biography

Pam Newsted, as academic secretary, serves as the primary liaison to students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the RCAH and provides administrative support to the Student Affairs director and staff. Her responsibilities include working with student records, assisting with RCAH events, and assisting faculty in various ways. Pam has worked at MSU collectively for more than 20 years, most recently in the College of Arts and Letters Development and Alumni Relations office, in the College of Natural Science dean’s office and at Lyman Briggs College. Pam’s husband is an MSU graduate and adjunct professor, and her son and daughter are MSU graduates. Pam enjoys gardening, walking, and life-long learning.
