The RCAH, in collaboration with the Graduate School at MSU, sponsors a language mentor fellowship program for graduate students with (near) native fluency in a language other than English. Graduate students selected as language mentor fellows have interests in undergraduate teaching, learning, and/or program development in world language proficiency. Language mentors are enrolled in graduate programs in the Colleges of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Arts and Letters, Education, Communication Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Music, Natural Science, or Social Science.
The RCAH has initiated a Cultures and Languages across the Curriculum (CLAC) program to provide its students additional opportunities to apply and strengthen their knowledge of world languages and cultures in a variety of contexts within the RCAH and the wider community. Integrated Language Options (ILOs) are the core elements of the RCAH’s CLAC program.
